KUCHING — The process of redrawing electoral boundaries in Sarawak has officially begun, according to Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil, signalling progress on a long-anticipated administrative exercise in the eastern Malaysian state.

Fahmi, speaking in Kuching on Monday, stated that the redelineation initiative has been set in motion but declined to provide a specific timeline for when the exercise would conclude or when state elections might be held.
