Saudi Arabia resumes oil exports from Yanbu after pipeline repairs

Oil shipments from Saudi Arabia's Yanbu export terminal have resumed normal operations after a planned maintenance shutdown of the pipeline infrastructure serving the facility.

The restart of crude loadings marks the end of a 10-day operational pause that began in mid-September. The maintenance work was conducted on the pipeline network connecting inland production facilities to the Red Sea loading terminal, a critical export hub for Saudi crude destined for Asian and international markets.

Yanbu is one of Saudi Arabia's two primary crude export terminals on the Red Sea, complementing the larger Ras Tanura facility on the Persian Gulf. The terminal typically handles a significant portion of the kingdom's daily crude exports, making any extended shutdown notable for regional energy markets.

The completion of the maintenance work comes as global crude markets remain sensitive to supply disruptions across the Middle East. Asia-Pacific markets, including Singapore, depend heavily on Saudi crude supplies, with the kingdom among the largest oil suppliers to the region.

No details on the scope of the maintenance work or any impact on export volumes were immediately available. Saudi Aramco typically conducts scheduled maintenance on export infrastructure to ensure operational reliability and meet international safety standards.
