SBI Waives ATM Withdrawal Charges for Three Days

State Bank of India (SBI) has declared a three-day moratorium on ATM withdrawal charges, offering customers fee-free cash withdrawals between September 28 and 30. The offer applies to all SBI ATMs across the country and does not require customers to remain within their standard monthly free transaction quotas. Under normal circumstances, SBI customers are entitled to a limited number of free withdrawals per month at ATMs, with charges levied for transactions exceeding this threshold. The special waiver effectively removes these restrictions for the designated period. The move comes as part of efforts to provide relief to banking customers during the specified dates. Customers are advised to plan their cash requirements during this window to maximise the benefit of the fee waiver. The bank has not specified any minimum or maximum withdrawal amount for this promotional period.
