SBSP Chief Rajbhar Revives U.P. Division Proposal, Draws Opposition Fire

Om Prakash Rajbhar, chief of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), has triggered fresh political debate by asserting that the division of Uttar Pradesh could proceed once a caste census is completed. Rajbhar attributed the proposal to statements allegedly made by the Prime Minister, suggesting that administrative reorganisation would follow the census exercise.
