The Haryana Education Department suspended Principal Neelu of Government Model Vidyalaya in Sector-20, Panchkula, on Monday following an incident of serious violence against a kindergarten student on the school premises.

According to initial reports, a Class III student allegedly attacked the young girl with stones and a flower pot, causing significant injuries. The assault left the victim in critical condition, prompting school authorities to refer her to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh for immediate medical care.

The suspension comes as the state education department investigates the circumstances that allowed the incident to occur. The incident has not yet resulted in formal charges, and authorities continue to gather statements from witnesses and school personnel involved at the time of the assault.
