Students staged a major protest outside Navin School in the Misrod area of Bhopal on Tuesday, demanding action against science teacher Babita Kushwaha. The demonstration was triggered by allegations that the educator had engaged in financial extortion and physical abuse of students.
Following the student outcry, school authorities initiated the teacher's immediate transfer from the institution. The District Education Officer (DEO) has also ordered a formal investigation into the allegations leveled against Kushwaha.
The incident reflects growing concerns about student safety and educator conduct in educational institutions across Madhya Pradesh. School management stated they are committed to maintaining a secure learning environment and ensuring appropriate action against any misconduct.
The investigation is ongoing, with education department officials reviewing the circumstances that led to the protest and the subsequent administrative action.
