Investigators probing the Pune murder case have examined allegations that two key suspects conducted a clandestine wedding ceremony at the Khatu Shyam temple in Rajasthan last December, according to case documents.
Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhuri are at the center of the inquiry into the death of Ketan Agarwal. While seeking to establish a timeline of events and relationships between the suspects, police investigated the possibility of a secret marriage at the temple during that period.
Police obtained no official marriage records or CCTV footage from the temple authorities to confirm such a ceremony took place. However, investigators recovered mobile phone photographs showing both individuals wearing garlands, consistent with wedding imagery.
These photographs have been incorporated into the formal chargesheet filed in the case, where they serve as potential evidence regarding the nature and extent of the relationship between the two suspects at the time in question. The investigation into other aspects of the case continues.
