Security forces neutralize senior LeT commander in Kashmir operations

India's Ministry of Home Affairs said on Monday that the elimination of a senior LeT commander represents a major setback for the Pakistan-based terrorist organization's presence in Kashmir. The operation marks the complete neutralization of a four-member senior leadership cadre that has been active in the union territory since 2022 and was responsible for planning and executing high-profile militant attacks. According to the MHA statement, the entire command structure of this operational cell has now been dismantled through sustained counter-insurgency operations. The killing demonstrates the effectiveness of coordinated security force operations in degrading the organizational capacity of designated terrorist groups operating in the region. Analysts note that the elimination of experienced commanders with established networks represents a strategic loss for LeT, as such operatives take considerable time and resources to develop and deploy.
