The figure represents an increase from 400,711 acres recorded in 2018, demonstrating incremental expansion in the reserve land portfolio over the past several years.
Malay reserve land, established under federal law, is designated for ownership and development by Malay-Bumiputera citizens and is a key component of constitutional provisions protecting Bumiputera interests in Malaysia.
