Selangor PAS Youth calls for action on alleged live pig exports

The vice-chief of Selangor PAS Youth has lodged a complaint regarding what he described as unauthorised live pig shipments transiting through Port Klang, alleging that the exports contravene a standing decree from the state's ruler.

The allegation centres on animal exports that the youth wing claims are inconsistent with the Sultan's directive governing such activities within Selangor. The group has called on state government officials to investigate the matter and take appropriate enforcement action.

Port Klang, one of Malaysia's busiest maritime hubs, handles a significant volume of cargo including animal products. The complaint raises questions about port oversight and compliance monitoring procedures for livestock exports.

State authorities have not yet issued an official response to the allegations. The development adds to ongoing scrutiny of Selangor's regulatory frameworks governing cross-border agricultural trade and animal welfare protocols.
