MANILA — Sen. Loren Legarda has filed another medical leave extension, her sixth since early August, according to Senate Secretary Renato Bantug. The latest extension covers October 5 to 9, Bantug announced Monday.
Legarda first took medical leave from August 3 to 5, followed by five subsequent extensions. The senator's absences have largely concentrated on Mondays through Wednesdays, according to Senate records.
