Senegal goalkeeper Diaw signs with Saudi Arabia's Al Shabab

Al Shabab announced the signing of Diaw on Monday, bolstering their defensive ranks with an experienced goalkeeper. The Senegalese custodian brings international experience to the Saudi Pro League, having represented his country at the international level.

Diaw's move to the Kingdom marks a significant step in his career following his time in France's top division. Le Havre will receive an undisclosed transfer fee for the goalkeeper, who has committed to a one-year deal with the Riyadh-based club.

The transfer represents Al Shabab's latest recruitment effort as the club continues to strengthen its squad. Diaw will compete for the starting goalkeeper position as the Saudi Pro League season progresses.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper becomes the latest African player to make the move to Saudi Arabia's top division, which has increasingly attracted talent from across the continent in recent seasons.
