The helicopter crashed at 9:13 a.m. while flying from the Loisaba Conservancy to the Ewaso Nyiro area in Samburu County, according to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority. All seven occupants on board were killed in the incident.

Five of the deceased were American nationals, while details regarding the remaining two victims remain under clarification. The aircraft was engaged in charter operations in the region, which is known for wildlife tourism and conservation activities.

Kenyan aviation authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Samburu County, located in northern Kenya, is a remote region popular with international tourists seeking safari and wildlife viewing experiences.
