In response to the rising threat, the dam administration has issued alert notifications to district magistrates across seven districts in the region: Bijnor, Moradabad, Amroha, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, and Farrukhabad. The emergency warnings direct local officials to activate contingency measures and prepare for potential flooding in low-lying areas and settlements near river channels.
