Seventeen firms bid for ₹8,300 crore Odisha coastal highway project
The National Highways Authority of India has received 17 competitive bids for the 160-kilometre greenfield coastal highway connecting Rameshwar to Paradip in Odisha, marking significant industry interest in the major infrastructure initiative.

The NHAI's Rameshwar-Paradip coastal highway project has attracted substantial bidding activity, with the tender divided into two distinct packages to facilitate construction across the 160-kilometre stretch. The Rameshwar-Konark segment drew ten bids from prospective contractors, while the Konark-Paradip portion generated seven submissions, according to officials overseeing the project.
The dual-package approach allows the authority to manage the large-scale greenfield highway development more effectively and provides flexibility in project execution.
