Signature Global, the Delhi-based residential real estate developer, has marked its entry into the senior living segment through a collaboration with Manasum. The partnership will develop 164 senior living units at Sarvam DXP, a mixed-use project in Gurugram, with a projected sales value of ₹575 crore.
Pricing for the senior living units starts at approximately ₹3.7 crore per unit, positioning the offering in the premium segment of the senior housing market. The development is designed to cater to India's growing demographic of affluent retirees seeking purpose-built residential communities with integrated amenities and services.
The project is expected to complete within 48 months from commencement. The venture represents Signature Global's diversification strategy beyond conventional residential development, tapping into the relatively nascent but expanding senior living sector in India.
Senior living communities have gained traction among Indian real estate developers in recent years as rising incomes and changing family structures have increased demand for independent living options for older adults. Industry analysts expect this segment to grow substantially as India's elderly population expands over the coming decades.
