Singapore air quality remains healthy as PSI forecast stays moderate

Singapore's air quality is set to remain stable, with the 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) forecast to stay between 60 and 90 for October 27, the National Environment Agency (NEA) reported. The forecast indicates air conditions across the island will range from good to moderate throughout the day.

PM2.5 concentrations, which measure fine particulate matter, are expected to remain at normal levels islandwide, reflecting favourable atmospheric conditions. The moderate PSI reading suggests residents should experience few to no respiratory effects from current air quality levels.

The NEA continues to monitor air quality across Singapore's monitoring stations to provide real-time updates to the public. Residents can track air quality conditions throughout the day via the agency's online portal and mobile applications, which display hourly PSI readings and health advisories for different air quality ranges.
