The emergency landing came just one day after another SIA jet returned to Singapore due to a separate medical situation involving a passenger onboard.
The London-bound flight was forced to alter course and land in the Turkish city to attend to the affected passenger. Details regarding the specific nature of the health emergency were not immediately disclosed by the airline.
