Singapore Airlines is set to modernise its KrisWorld in-flight entertainment offering, with a comprehensive system overhaul scheduled to roll out from 2027 onwards. The upgrade will significantly expand content availability and improve the passenger experience with enhanced technology and user-friendly features.
The refreshed KrisWorld platform will integrate major streaming services including Apple TV, BBC, CNA, HBO Max, iQIYI and Paramount+, providing passengers with a diverse range of films, television series and original productions. The system will be accessible on larger, more advanced display screens throughout the aircraft, from premium cabins to economy class.
A key enhancement will be a new interface design aimed at simplifying navigation and content discovery. The platform will also introduce the ability for passengers to resume programmes across multiple flights, allowing seamless viewing continuity for longer journeys or frequent flyers.
The upgrade represents Singapore Airlines' commitment to maintaining competitive in-flight entertainment standards as premium carriers globally invest in digital offerings and partnerships with major content providers. The phased implementation from 2027 will ensure minimal disruption to flight operations while modernising the airline's fleet capabilities.
