Singapore's Enterprise Development Board (EnterpriseSG) has launched the Champions of AI programme to drive widespread artificial intelligence adoption across the city-state's economic sectors. The initiative targets companies seeking to leverage AI as a core engine for growth and competitive advantage.
The programme will support participating firms in developing comprehensive AI transformation roadmaps tailored to their operational needs. Participants will gain access to leading technology experts and solutions, alongside resources for workforce reskilling and capability building. The focus extends beyond isolated AI projects to enable systemic operational transformation across entire organisations.
The inaugural cohort comprises 24 companies representing diverse sectors of Singapore's economy. Selection prioritises enterprises demonstrating strong commitment to embedding AI as a fundamental driver of their business models and organisational structures.
This initiative forms part of Singapore's broader economic strategy to maintain competitiveness in the region. The programme reflects growing recognition among policymakers and industry leaders that strategic AI adoption is essential for sustaining economic growth and operational efficiency in an increasingly digital marketplace.
