Singapore's government has rolled out BizSG, a consolidated digital platform designed to centralise business support information and services previously scattered across multiple agencies. The portal leverages artificial intelligence technology to recommend customised support programmes based on each company's specific profile and needs.
The platform guides users through a step-by-step process to identify and access appropriate government services and financial support schemes. Rather than requiring businesses to navigate disparate government departments, BizSG serves as a single entry point for companies seeking subsidies, grants, and technical assistance.
The initiative represents a significant modernisation of Singapore's approach to business support delivery. By consolidating fragmented services into one digital ecosystem, the government aims to reduce administrative burden and improve uptake of available programmes among small, medium and large enterprises.
According to officials, the entire Singapore government subsidy system is expected to be gradually integrated into the BizSG platform by 2027. The phased integration approach will allow time for different government agencies to align their services and data systems with the unified platform architecture.
The move reflects growing regional trends toward digital government services that use data analytics and automation to improve citizen and business engagement with public support programmes.
