Singapore has rolled out a new digital platform designed to simplify how businesses navigate government grants and tariff information. The BizSG portal consolidates multiple support schemes and calculators into a single entry point, reducing administrative friction for enterprises seeking financial assistance or clarity on trade costs.
The platform is the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (METI) and EnterpriseSG, the government agency tasked with developing the enterprise sector. The initiative reflects efforts to make business support more accessible and user-friendly amid evolving economic conditions and trade dynamics in the region.
The portal allows companies to identify relevant grants based on their industry, size and business objectives, while the integrated tariff calculator helps enterprises understand the cost implications of trade arrangements. Officials noted that the centralised approach reduces the time businesses spend searching across multiple agency websites and documents.
