Singapore's air quality has returned to normal levels, with hourly PM2.5 readings falling within acceptable ranges across all five regions of the island from 1am on October 22 onwards.
The National Environment Agency's monitoring stations recorded particulate matter concentrations in the "normal" category throughout the island, indicating a sharp turnaround from earlier haze conditions that had affected air quality in recent days.
The improvement comes as weather patterns shift, with prevailing winds carrying away transboundary haze that had been drifting across the region. Residents can expect to see continued clear skies provided atmospheric conditions remain favourable.
The agency continues to monitor air quality levels in real-time across the five designated regions. Members of the public can access hourly PM2.5 readings and air quality forecasts through the National Environment Agency's website and mobile applications.
