Singapore, Vietnam to deepen ties through leadership exchanges, tech cooperation

Singapore and Vietnam have committed to deepening their relationship through enhanced leadership exchanges and expanded technological cooperation, signalling a broader effort to strengthen ties between the two Southeast Asian neighbours.

Coordinating Minister for Public Services Chan Chun Sing underscored the importance of such engagement, emphasising that government quality and capability will be increasingly critical in distinguishing successful nations from their peers in an increasingly competitive global landscape.

The bilateral agreement encompasses technology sector collaboration, reflecting both countries' strategic focus on digital transformation and innovation as key drivers of economic growth.
