The operation, conducted jointly by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera (PDEA-CAR) and other law enforcement units, targeted the drug den on October 3. The raid resulted in the arrest of six drug suspects and the recovery of 16 heat-sealed transparent sachets containing suspected methamphetamine.
The confiscated drug material weighed approximately 11 grams and carried an estimated street value of several thousand pesos, according to authorities. The seized substance has been turned over to appropriate agencies for laboratory testing and documentation.
The operation underscores continuing efforts by law enforcement to combat illegal drug trafficking in the Cordillera region. Authorities have intensified anti-narcotics campaigns targeting known drug distribution points in major cities including Baguio.
