KOTA BHARU, Sept 6 — Authorities have launched a search operation for six individuals reported missing after entering a forest area through the Lojing entrance in Kelantan without emerging at the designated exit point in Perak.
The group, comprising four family members and two professional mountain guides, entered the forest but did not reach their expected destination, prompting concerns for their safety. Gua Musang police confirmed the missing persons report and mobilised search and rescue teams to locate the hikers.
The circumstances surrounding their disappearance remained unclear as investigations continued. Authorities appealed to the public for any information that might assist in locating the missing group.
