The Sri Lanka Institute of Development (SLID) has announced the opening of applications for the fourth cohort of its Women in Leadership programme, a key initiative designed to cultivate and support emerging female leaders in South and Southeast Asia.

The programme represents a continuation of SLID's strategic efforts to increase women's representation and influence in senior decision-making positions across various sectors including government, business, civil society, and non-profit organisations.

Applicants are invited to apply for the intensive leadership development course, which provides participants with advanced training, mentorship opportunities, and networking platforms. The initiative seeks to equip women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to assume influential leadership roles and drive organisational and social change.

The fourth intake reflects growing recognition of the critical need to accelerate women's advancement into positions of authority and influence across the region. Previous cohorts of the Women in Leadership programme have successfully graduated participants who have gone on to assume prominent roles in their respective fields and sectors.
