Snabbit operator swings to massive loss despite revenue surge

Maestroedge Solutions has reported a net loss of ₹167.75 crore for the financial year 2025-26, marking a significant improvement from the ₹5.70 crore loss recorded in FY25, according to filings with the Registrar of Companies. The improvement in losses comes despite substantial increases in operational expenses as the company scales its home services marketplace.

Revenue from operations climbed sharply to ₹12.25 crore in FY26, up from ₹26.35 lakh in the previous year. Platform services generated ₹10.82 crore of this total, while sales of uniforms to service providers contributed ₹1.42 crore. Including other income of ₹14.77 crore, total income reached ₹27 crore for the year.

The company's expansion strategy drove total expenses to ₹194.76 crore, more than 28 times the ₹6.81 crore spent in FY25. Expert service costs—payments to platform workers—represented the largest expense category at ₹63.07 crore, a dramatic increase from ₹27 lakh the previous year. Marketing expenditure surged nearly 60-fold to ₹48.69 crore, while employee benefit expenses grew to ₹46.02 crore from ₹3.27 crore.

The financial results underscore the challenges facing India's home services platforms as they invest heavily in customer acquisition and service provider networks to gain market share in a competitive sector.
