KORONADAL CITY — The Police Regional Office 12 (PRO-12) is preparing a substantial security deployment for the 2026 Undas season, stationing 4,790 personnel across Soccsksargen to maintain peace and order during the annual commemoration period.
The deployment will strategically position officers at key locations including cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaria throughout Region 12. The planned presence aims to address public safety concerns and manage the expected increase in civilian traffic during one of the Philippines' most significant religious observances.
All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, collectively known as Undas, typically draws millions of Filipinos to grave sites to honor deceased loved ones. The annual tradition creates unique security and crowd management challenges for law enforcement agencies across the country.
PRO-12 officials indicated that the comprehensive deployment strategy reflects the office's commitment to facilitating safe and orderly celebrations while maintaining public security throughout the region during the observance period.
