Sooryavanshi must wait for opportunity, says Gambhir
India coach Gautam Gambhir has indicated that teenage prospect Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will need to be patient before earning a place in the national team, after being left out of the squad for the Twenty20 series against Afghanistan.

Gambhir's comments came following India's three-match sweep of Afghanistan in the T20 series, during which the 15-year-old prodigy remained unused on the sidelines. The young player, tipped as a future talent in Indian cricket, was part of the squad but did not feature in any of the matches.
The India coach indicated that Sooryavanshi's exclusion was not a reflection of his ability but rather a matter of timing and squad balance. Gambhir suggested that opportunities would come in due course as the player continues his development and proves himself at the required level.
