Sophos names India as top growth market after robust 60% expansion

Sophos, a leading global cybersecurity solutions provider, has marked India as its primary growth engine, recording exceptional expansion that significantly outpaces the regional market trajectory. According to Gavin Struthers, Senior Vice President for Asia-Pacific and Japan at Sophos, the company's 60% growth rate in FY26 contrasts sharply with the Indian cybersecurity market's overall expansion of approximately 15%, underscoring the firm's accelerating market penetration.

The company's robust performance reflects India's emergence as a critical market for Sophos operations across the Asia-Pacific region. India now serves as the largest employee base for Sophos globally, with over 1,500 personnel stationed across the country, reinforcing the company's commitment to strengthening its local infrastructure and service delivery capabilities.

Struthers attributed the company's impressive growth trajectory to heightened awareness regarding cyber resilience and strengthened regulatory frameworks in India. The implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act has intensified organizational focus on data security, driving increased adoption of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions across sectors. This regulatory environment, combined with rising digital adoption and cyber threat consciousness among enterprises, has created favorable conditions for cybersecurity vendors operating in the Indian market.
