South Korea deploys 44-member relief team to flood-hit Nepal

South Korea's Foreign Ministry confirmed on Tuesday that it will send a 44-member disaster relief team to Nepal to support ongoing rescue operations in areas affected by recent flooding.
The emergency response unit will focus on search-and-rescue activities in the Rasuwa region, where flooding has caused significant damage and displacement. The deployment represents Seoul's commitment to providing immediate humanitarian assistance to the neighbouring country during the crisis.
The timing of the relief mission comes as Nepal continues to assess the full extent of damage caused by the floods. The South Korean team is expected to work alongside local authorities and other international relief organisations already engaged in the response effort.
