Pagesa weather specialist Leanne Loreto noted in the agency's 5 a.m. weather advisory that the monsoon's effects are expected to diminish, resulting in lighter rainfall in various parts of the country. The development comes as the weather system continues its seasonal passage through the archipelago.
While conditions are anticipated to improve, residents in affected areas are advised to remain vigilant, as localized flooding and landslides remain possible in susceptible regions. Pagasa will continue monitoring the weather system and issue updated forecasts as conditions evolve.
