Special probe team formed after major bank heist in Jamshedpur

Authorities in Jamshedpur have intensified their investigation into a significant bank robbery by forming a dedicated Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by the City Superintendent of Police. The team comprises 20 members tasked with unraveling the details of the heist and apprehending those responsible.
According to police officials, approximately 42 lakh rupees in cash and around 23 kilograms of gold were stolen from the bank during the incident. The substantial loss has prompted senior law enforcement to prioritize the case and allocate additional investigative resources.
CCTV footage from the bank premises has proved instrumental in the investigation so far. Police have identified five suspected perpetrators from the recorded material and are actively working to track them down. Investigators are analyzing the footage frame-by-frame to establish the movements of the suspects and determine their identities.
The heist has raised concerns about security protocols at financial institutions in the region. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities appealing to the public for any information that might aid in apprehending the suspects or recovering the stolen items.
