A tragic road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Muradabad district has left three children without their father after a speeding Thar SUV struck an e-rickshaw from behind on Wednesday. The collision took place along the Muradabad-Agra State Highway in the Bilari police station jurisdiction, where the e-rickshaw was parked on the roadside.
The e-rickshaw operator sustained critical injuries in the high-impact crash. Occupants of the Thar immediately transported the injured man to the Community Health Centre in Bilari, but medical staff pronounced him dead on arrival.
The fatal accident underscores ongoing road safety concerns in the region, where speeding vehicles frequently pose dangers to stationary and slower-moving traffic. Local authorities have registered the incident, though details regarding charges and further investigation remain unclear. The deceased man's family, including his three children, is now bereft of their primary breadwinner.
