Sri Lanka to Host WHO Health Review Assessment

Sri Lanka is set to participate in the World Health Organization's Universal Health and Preparedness Review, a strategic initiative designed to evaluate and enhance national health security frameworks. The review process represents a commitment to building resilient health infrastructure capable of responding to emerging health threats.

As a voluntary undertaking, the assessment will be led by Sri Lanka while incorporating peer evaluations from other WHO member states. This collaborative approach enables countries to benefit from international expertise and best practices in health preparedness and system strengthening.
