SriLankan Airlines rolls out Lake House newspapers for Business Class passengers

SriLankan Airlines has launched a partnership with Lake House to provide passengers travelling in Business Class with complimentary access to the publisher's suite of national newspapers, effective from October 1.

Under the arrangement, Business Class travellers will be able to access Dinamina, Daily News, and Thinakaran—three of the country's leading daily publications. The initiative is designed to cater to both domestic and international passengers, providing them with current news and information during their flights.

The distribution programme represents an expansion of in-flight services offered by the national carrier and underscores the airline's commitment to enhancing passenger experience across its route network. Lake House, one of Sri Lanka's oldest and largest newspaper publishing houses, operates multiple titles catering to different language communities across the island.

The availability of print publications on board aligns with efforts by full-service carriers to provide comprehensive entertainment and information options to premium cabin passengers, complementing digital news access and other amenities typically offered during flights.
