SSC Result Revision Opens New Pathway for Class XI Admission

The Secondary School Certificate examination board has clarified procedures for students whose results were modified after the re-scrutiny process, allowing them to proceed with higher secondary admission applications using their revised scores.

Candidates who requested result rechecking and received different marks are eligible to submit fresh Class XI admission applications. The updated marks will be considered the official score for merit-based selection into intermediate colleges and institutions across the country.

Education officials have urged affected students to collect their revised result documents from their respective schools promptly. These certificates must be submitted along with completed admission forms to ensure candidates are evaluated fairly during the Class XI merit listing process.

The board emphasized that no additional fees would be charged for admission applications submitted with re-scrutinized results. Students are advised to verify their revised marks carefully before submission and to retain copies of all documentation for record-keeping purposes.

Institutions have been instructed to accept applications from re-scrutiny candidates on equal footing with other applicants, with final merit lists to be prepared based on the standardized evaluation criteria across all boards.
