Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy bags ₹985 crore in fresh orders

Sterling Wilson Renewable Energy has announced new order wins valued at approximately ₹985 crore, marking a significant expansion of its business pipeline in both domestic and international markets.

The order book includes a 534.3 megawatt-peak solar photovoltaic project in Rajasthan, India's leading renewable energy state. The company will execute this project as an engineering, procurement and construction contractor, tapping into the sustained demand for solar capacity in the region.

Complementing its domestic growth, Sterling Wilson has also secured a 616 megawatt-hour battery energy storage system contract in South Africa on a turnkey engineering, procurement and construction basis. This win underscores the company's growing capabilities in energy storage solutions, a segment gaining traction globally as grids transition toward renewable sources.

The dual orders reflect Sterling Wilson's position as a significant player across the renewable energy value chain. The Rajasthan solar project addresses India's ambitious renewable generation targets, while the South Africa battery storage facility demonstrates the company's ability to compete in international markets and address emerging energy storage demands.
