Storm delays search for 129 missing after Indonesian ferry capsizes

Search and rescue operations for victims of the Virgo Transport 8 capsizing have been hampered by severe weather conditions as efforts entered their third day on September 15. The ferry, which was carrying 243 passengers and crew, went down in the early hours of September 13 following a sudden deterioration in sea conditions across the region.

So far, 114 people have been rescued from the incident, leaving 129 individuals still missing.
