Stray Dog Steals Jewelry Bag Worth Rs 4 Lakh from MP Hospital

A bizarre theft at Mandsaur District Hospital in Madhya Pradesh was solved with the help of surveillance cameras after a stray dog became an unlikely thief. The canine absconded with a bag containing jewelry and cash worth nearly Rs 4 lakh from the hospital premises.

The incident came to light when hospital authorities reviewed CCTV footage to investigate the missing bag. The recordings revealed the surprising culprit—a stray dog carrying the bag in its mouth as it left the hospital grounds.

Police used the surveillance footage to track the dog's movements across the area. By following the trail captured on camera, authorities were able to locate and recover the bag with its contents intact.

The owner of the jewelry and cash expressed relief at the recovery of her valuables. The incident has highlighted both the security challenges faced by hospitals and the unexpected ways missing items can sometimes be recovered.
