A total of 31 students from Manipur and Nagaland have been relocated to separate accommodation as a precautionary measure to ensure their safety and allow the situation to stabilize. The administration has scheduled fresh negotiations between the involved groups for Sunday, August 23, with the aim of resolving underlying grievances and establishing a framework for peaceful coexistence on campus. Officials have stated that counseling sessions and mediation efforts will be undertaken to address concerns raised by both student communities and prevent recurrence of such incidents.
