Student leader backs INDIA bloc's November 1 EC protest at Delhi venue

The AISA chief announced her organisation's backing for the INDIA bloc's planned demonstration against the Election Commission, following similar endorsements from other student and civil society groups. The November 1 gathering at the historic Ramlila Maidan venue is expected to draw significant opposition participation as parties seek to mount pressure on the electoral body over various governance concerns. Bora's public commitment to attend the protest underscores growing coordination among student unions and political coalitions around election-related grievances. The Election Commission has remained at the centre of political controversy in recent months, with opposition parties and civil society raising questions about its functioning and institutional independence. The planned rally represents one of several coordinated efforts by opposition forces to challenge the commission's authority and decisions through mass mobilisation.
