Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) commenced operations on its Hanoi-Hong Kong route on September 30, adding to its growing portfolio of international services. The new connection links Vietnam's capital with one of Asia's major financial and tourism hubs, positioning the carrier to capture increased travel demand between the two destinations.
The route launch reflects SPA's strategy to expand its regional footprint using its fleet of wide-body aircraft, including eight A330 jets. The addition of the Hanoi-Hong Kong service aims to facilitate greater people-to-people exchanges and strengthen commercial ties between the two markets.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways was recognized as Asia's Best Leisure Airline at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, underscoring its competitive standing in the region's aviation sector.
