Sungai Golok PLSB Phase 1 on track for completion by July 2027

The first phase of the Sungai Golok Permanent Liveability and Socio-economic Benefits (PLSB) project has achieved 73% physical progress and remains on schedule for mid-2027 completion. Subsequent phases are expected to be delivered between October 2028 and April 2029.

Sungai Golok PLSB Phase 1 on track for completion by July 2027

The Sungai Golok PLSB project is progressing according to schedule, with Phase 1 demonstrating significant advancement toward its targeted completion date of July 2027. Current figures indicate that physical construction work on the opening phase has reached 73%, reflecting steady progress on the ground.

Phase 2 of the development initiative is anticipated to be completed between October 2028 and December 2028, while Phase 3 is expected to conclude by April 2029. This phased implementation approach allows for systematic project rollout and staged delivery of facilities and infrastructure to the Sungai Golok region.

The PLSB project represents a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing liveability and generating socio-economic benefits for communities in the Sungai Golok area.
