Suzlon lands 200 MW wind order from Ayana Renewable Power

Suzlon Energy Ltd announced Tuesday that it has won a 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power Ltd, marking the renewable energy equipment manufacturer's third devco-led wind contract spanning Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The company will deploy 64 units of its S144 wind turbines, each rated at 3.15 MW capacity, under an integrated development model where the supplier manages end-to-end project execution from site assessment through full construction.

The landmark contract pushes Suzlon's flagship 3.x MW platform, the S144, past the 10 GW cumulative installation milestone globally. The achievement reflects strong demand for the turbine platform across India's renewable energy sector.

Madhya Pradesh continues to emerge as a critical hub for India's wind energy expansion, with the state boasting over 55 GW of wind generation potential at 150 metres height. Suzlon's consecutive orders from the state signal accelerating investment in renewable energy infrastructure as India pursues its clean energy targets.
