Tabung Haji ex-COO corruption case postponed to late September
The corruption case against former Chief Operating Officer Adi Azuan Abdul Ghani has been adjourned after he was hospitalised for cardiac-related complications. The proceedings are now scheduled to resume on 24 September.

The High Court hearing in the corruption case involving Adi Azuan Abdul Ghani, the former Chief Operating Officer of Tabung Haji, has been postponed to 24 September. According to his legal counsel, Adi Azuan has been receiving medical treatment since 31 August due to heart-related health issues. The adjournment was granted to allow the defendant time for recovery and medical management. Adi Azuan was charged in connection with allegations involving the pilgrimage fund's operations. The case represents part of ongoing scrutiny into governance matters at the institution, which manages savings and pilgrimage arrangements for Malaysian Muslims. The next court date will determine the trajectory of proceedings as the defence prepares its response to charges brought by the prosecution.
