Tahfiz school principal arrested over alleged student sexual assault
A former head of an Islamic boarding school has been detained by police in Dungun following allegations of sexual misconduct involving three students. The arrest comes after three separate reports were filed with authorities.

The suspect, who previously headed a tahfiz school, was taken into custody following complaints received by Dungun police. According to the district police chief Nik Ab Halim Nik Mat, the allegations emerged after three reports were lodged on a single day, prompting swift police action.
The reports allege sexual assault against three students at the religious boarding school. Police have initiated investigations into the matter and are expected to conduct further questioning of the accused and potential witnesses.
