Tamil Nadu CM inaugurates renovated Gandhi Memorial Museum in Madurai

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the renovated Gandhi Memorial Museum in Madurai on Wednesday, marking the completion of a major restoration initiative at the heritage site. The museum, dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi's legacy, has undergone comprehensive upgrades to enhance visitor experience and preserve its historical significance.

The Public Works Department's Heritage Wing executed the renovation project at a total cost of ₹10.25 crore. The restoration work focused on structural improvements, conservation of existing exhibits, and modernization of facilities while maintaining the architectural integrity of the original structure.
