Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd registered combined sales of 75,426 units in October, up significantly from 61,295 units in the corresponding month last year, the company said in a statement. Domestic passenger vehicle sales drove the expansion, increasing 21 per cent to 73,894 units compared to 61,134 units in October of the previous year.
International passenger vehicle sales demonstrated exceptional growth, jumping to 1,532 units last month from just 161 units a year earlier. The ninefold increase in overseas markets underscores the company's expanding global footprint and rising acceptance of its vehicles in international markets.
The October performance extends Tata Motors' recent momentum in the passenger vehicle segment, reflecting continued consumer appetite for its offerings amid a competitive Indian automotive landscape. The company's growth across both domestic and international fronts suggests effective market positioning and product strategy execution.
